I’ve been a runner since childhood but for so many years could not imagine how people run without listening to music.
A few years back I finally realised that this is the kind of time, all the big thinkers make a fuss about :) So I started to run with no music just my thoughts, and after a while started to go on runs with my particular problems in mind with the goal to find a solution during my run.
However I learned that after the initial forced circles of thinking, you have to reach that “let go” phase when your mind just can BE. And that’s when the best ideas pop up from seemingly nowhere.
Thank you for the post.
