Everything you wanted to know about Katch* (*but were afraid to ask)

We don’t stop. We just keep building our “invisible app”, launching awesome features like video embedding, a discovery feed and collections (to name a few). Sometimes we’re so excited to push out the next feature that we don’t stop to tell everyone about the one we just launched. We’re committed to doing a better job of that, so today we’re launching the Katch Guide. 🎉

The all new Katch Guide

Our Guide is an overview of every public feature documented in one place. Now you can make sure you aren’t missing out on the secret Katch functionality the cool kids use. If you’re new to Katch, you can learn all about how the service works with simple videos, but if you haven’t signed up yet, you’re most definitely going to be a convert by the end of the Guide!

Here are some features you’ll learn about in the guide

Embed a Live Stream— Every public video on Katch is embeddable. Include your videos on your blog or website and get more people to see your content.

Follow a Hashtag — Set up a Katch collection to automatically collect videos with a specific hashtag(s). You can set this on auto-pilot to stay up-to-date on a topic. Collections have more super powers and you can learn more about them here.

Deep Link into a Video — When you share a video with your friends and followers you can specify the exact point the video will start from.

Auto-Post to Facebook — Turn on this setting to push your videos directly to Facebook, hands free. Send them to your profile timeline or a FB Page you manage.

Your Personal RSS Feed — For the power users, we’ve created an RSS feed for all Katch users. Just go to your profile page to get your RSS feed.

There’s so much more Katch can do, so go check our new Katch Guide to learn all about our wonderful little platform.
