A Kinda Not So Brief Introduction
My name is Kaitlyn Deborah Eileen Robertson. But I prefer Kate. I am 20 years old. And I feel like this is the part where I tell you what I am, or what I do, but I still haven’t quite figured that part out yet — so stay tuned for that shocking revelation, if it ever comes.
What I can tell you is this.
I started out 2016 just like any other year — with an excruciatingly long list of resolutions. Only this year, I intend on actually doing them. I created this blog for two reasons; it was one of my resolutions, and it will help me keep track of the rest.
These are those resolutions for this year; I’m happy to say I’ve already crossed some off.
- Make better habits.
- Be more positive.
- Find a house. Make it a home. (One more week!)
- Adopt or purchase one of the bazillion animals I’ve always wanted.
- Make a blog. Actually post. (Lets see how long this lasts)
- Make a YouTube channel. (This makes me want to crawl in a hole)
- Make a portfolio. Develop it.
- Make art. Finish a series.
- Write words. Publish something.
- Create something. Sell it.
- Learn something new. Everyday.
- Start a company.
- Eat healthier, excersize regularly.
- Find another job.
- Apply for college. (The problem is picking the course.)
- Get my license. (ASAP)
- Go on a trip.
So those are just some of my resolutions that I can think of at the moment. And I’m sure this list will grow, as any other list I have does. But unlike any other lists I have made, I plan to cross them all off — I’ve never been good with that, but since my first resolution is to make better habits, that’s probably where I should start.
Ill probably be posting a little bit more about each resolution, why it was important for me to make, and any progress I have made. However, I have bigger plans for this blog than just making it personal. And as far as this those plans go, that will probably be an upcoming post. So stay tuned for that.
But in the mean time let me know what your resolutions for this year are, Id love to hear — and who knows, maybe you’ll inspire me to add some of those things onto my list as well.
Until next time, happy habit making!
