appreciate this framing around a “line of dismissal” — I think about this a lot with Regen and how to balance access/credibility with talking about reparations/redistribution. I also appreciate this framing bc I’ve usually thought about it in terms of “softness” or an interpersonal friendliness that I can cultivate that will lead to connection rather than disconnection, but there’s also some these lines you’re describing where no amount of emotional labor will patch the relationship/connection.
