Week 6 — Global Networks

In the human world, we can connect closely and globally in the 21st century. We can easily use technologies to communicate with different people from different places around the world. These days, human are more connected than ever.

However, since we are connected globally, the world is also becoming more capitalism. The world economy is slowly controlled by the larger brands and companies. They are taking over the local stores and shops (which are representing the local society). The poor becomes poorer and the richer become the richest. Will the world end up control by one company or person?! No one will know! However, we cannot let it happen.

If we still pretend this kind of situation will never happen to us and not start to look into the issues, we will not be able to give a say in the future. Although everything has its positive and negative side of views, however, in my opinion, the global networks are still more pessimistic than optimistic.
