Speed Camera Locations and Violations in the City of Chicago

The city of Chicago has installed many speed cameras on streets across the city, in various neighborhoods. The map below shows these cameras pinpointed, some neighborhoods, having no cameras at all.
City of Chicago Data takes count, updated recently as of May 27th, of all speed cameras installed throughout the city. As speed cameras increase across the city, violations are caught live and counted for.
This chart reflects the daily intake of violations that have occurred in Children’s Safety Zones for every camera, updated as recent as May 29th. Due to the inability the registered owner of the offending vehicle, the violation may not be issued as a citation. However, this data is all speed camera violations whether a citation was given or not. The top five speed camera with the most violations are 6226 W Irving Park Rd., 1315 W Garfield Blvd., 6909 S Kedzie, 1111 N Humboldt and 5520 S Western. With over 2,860 speed camera violations at each location.
