Born Hungry

Good luck to you, looking forward to hearing about the evolution of your new life. Make sure to replace the former eating habit with something positive — one cannot remove something that worked so well (in its way) with nothing…I can relate a little to the food addiction, mine is sugar. I won’t bore you with my ‘shocking’ details. Yes, it’s a daily — hourly! — struggle. But worth it. One day at a time. One hour at a time. One minute at a time. If you can delay the food one hour or eat one fewer bite — you are winning the battle. Keep increasing the delay and reducing the bites. Take a bath, brush your teeth, take a walk, take a nap, pray, meditate, change your schedule — do *something* else. Tell your friends and family you have health issues and they need to learn to relate to you in a different way. Congratulate yourself for every bite not taken and every hour delayed — build the strength and habit. Eat well, sleep, and exercise in any way possible. Get to know yourself and your body and learn to love yourself (the hardest thing for me). Good luck 😉
