Holy Moly! A White Buffalo
Once long long ago …
there were always stories,
some become part of our mythology
others Legend.
The thing that binds us…
some thread of humanity
that links you and me
and all living beings.
So prick up your ears
this ancestor tale
with an indigenous setting.
That has a message
for our times.
So listen…
A White Calf angel came !!!
in a dream the young Buffalo
that had been foretold
and it guided
some people,
this one and that one
it doesn’t matter who.
Those that found themselves
in the dreamtime world.
Ushering light and some sense
of sacred in divine presence
and connecting to the Earth
in gratitude.
One morning just the other day
peace came in a big wave
as the people remembered
their prayers
the land was restored.
There was a state of Grace
it was amazing for sure.

Lakota legend says about 2,000 years ago – when nothing was good, food was running out and bison were disappearing – White Buffalo Calf Woman appeared, presented a bowl pipe and a bundle to a tribal member, taught them how to pray and said that the pipe could be used to bring buffalo to the area for food.
