I do not believe in force, especially by the state. I don’t support socialism. I believe in free association and free markets. I don’t think anything I’ve stated is to the contrary.
True liberty allows one to determine one’s own life, and that includes who gets to participate in it. Private business owners should be able to say who they do business with, that is not the choice of the state or strangers.
I’ve never understood why people want to associate with people who don’t like them or don’t want them around.
I understand laws that require the government to treat everyone equally, even though the government doesn’t follow its own rules a large portion of the time, because you don’t want a power with a large military and militarized police force to play favorites. Unfortunately, that doesn’t stop the government from doing that, does it? Why not? Because people are people whether they wear a badge or a uniform or not. In fact, with a badge and uniform they are more likely to show their worst selves.
People segregate (not necessarily by race) naturally. They form likeminded groups based on many things. There’s nothing wrong with that as long as violence and deliberate harm are not being perpetrated by a group against others.
