The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
Psalm 19:1–2 NLT

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 NLT

God of creation
There at the start
Before the beginning of time
With no point of reference
You spoke to the dark
And fleshed out the wonder of light

This song ‘SO WILL I’ from Hillsong United has greatly impacted me for last few months. When I hear the song play, my mind automatically thinks about the creation and how great our creator is. I think it’s just amazing how God can bring the dead to life and can create something out of nothing. When He speaks, the whole universe obeys Him. When He breathes, dry bones come to life. What is impossible for man becomes possible.

And as You speak
A hundred billion galaxies are born
In the vapor of Your breath the planets form
If the stars were made to worship so will I
I can see Your heart in everything You’ve made
Every burning star
A signal fire of grace
If creation sings Your praises so will I

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers —
the moon and the stars you set in place —
what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
Psalm 8:3–4 NLT

As I read this bible verses, my heart explodes!
How could a beautiful God — creator of the heavens and the earth, still care for us? Unimaginable but that is the truth.

He knows your name. Yes, He knows every doubt, every fear, and every thought you have. Even your hairs are numbered. He calls you His. He knows your good and not so good side and still loves you the same. He knows every flaw you have but accepts you anyway. Even when we are unfaithful, He remains faithful because that is who He is and He cannot deny himself. Isn’t it amazing that He created everything — absolutely everything and yet He tells us that NOTHING in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And as You speak
A hundred billion failures disappear
Where You lost Your life so I could find it here

This is the truth: that no matter how far you run, He’ll always chase after you. He will never give up on you even when you feel like the whole world has given up on you. Or even when you have given up on yourself. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will always wait for you to come home to Him. He is your father. He hasn’t changed a bit. He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever. He loves you.

You are His favorite creation.
