Why You Should Never Forgive Anyone
Mareo McCracken

Such an interesting perspective, Mareo. Thank you! The only caveat I’d make to this approach is that there are times in life that people do terribly wrongful and hurtful things to others, and it’s particularly egregious when it involves vulnerable and helpless children. I’ve seen in my work with adult children of narcissists that when these children grow to adulthood, it is exactly forgiveness they need to embrace, or they will never heal. Sometimes people are horrific to each other, and the victim truly did nothing to elicit the behavior. In those cases, forgiveness from the heart is vital to recovery.
