Stories of the three women who have changed my life

“ … in a democracy, if you want to help the greatest number of
people, you have to push for reform from both the outside-in
and the inside-out.”

This is unbelievably hard — which I keep relearning every day
as I work for disability inclusion in the workplace for adults
with developmental disabilities as a parent advocate. It’s hard
and “slow moving” but, it’s the only way real change can
happen.

I’m SO glad that you learned to be a “policy wonk” in your
journey to affect change on an international scale. And, I
hope you’re given the opportunity to carry on the “slow,
hard business of governing” come November.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
