Wonderful, simply put facts. I have needed back surgery on my entire spine for over 17 years and because I could not afford it myself , and was not on welfare ( so many do get Health Insurance coverage via Medicaid , largely for free in this country, because they have children under 18, unfortunately tumors caused me to have to have a hysterectomy at age 36 so I could not have any more children, {my youngest of 4 turned 18 in 2008 }or I guess my government would have deemed me worthy of getting the surgery I needed to be able to work for a living, not to mention relieving the chronic severe 24 hour a day pain I was in and always will be in now) — my spine continued to deteriorate and crumble and now I’m almost completely unable to walk and look like the Hunchback if Notre Dame at 57 years old. I applied for Disability in 2009 and in 2011 but because the government gives you a 5 minute crappy exam by one of their drs to determine your eligibility, (you don’t have any drs or tests of your own to present to show and prove how messed up your body is when you have not had insurance so you could have mri’s and scans and proof) they then turned me down and said I don’t qualify. January 2014 brought me hope, finally, because the ACA made it illegal for an insurance company to turn you down for a pre-existing condition and they were no longer allowed to jack up the premiums on those they felt were a risk to insure because they were not 100% healthy. Even with the ACA— still my ins . was 3–$500.0o a month, but at least I saw light at the end of the tunnel, if I could get the money together for Obamacare premiums.. Now they leave me and millions like me with no hope again, and they had the indecency, the lack of morality and humanity to actually celebrate doing this to me. I paid tons of taxes to live here, for over 40 years. Younger women who’ve never worked a day in their lives get the surgery I need for free because they are on welfare. What is wrong with this picture and WHY is this the picture I see? Republicans should be ashamed of this.

Maybe life isn’t supposed to be easy. Many words describe the things I’ve loved the most, but easy is NOT one of those words. I’ve a thing or 2 to say.
