After reading President Trump’s Tweets Re: Morning Joe, I cried. My country and the world deserve so much better. I cried for the children who watch the President of the United States act with such immaturity and disrespect. I cried for the women of the world who struggle for recognition, and appreciation for their ideas, talents and contributions — not their looks or body.

This period is history is painful to live through. I can only pray that some how, over the years, we will all be better off. We will have seen the damaging effects of divisiveness, manipulation and disrespect. We will see what happens when you bully those that disagree with you. We will learn that we all win when we see an issue from different perspectives to come to a solution. We will learn that diversity of all kinds, enriches us rather than weakens us.

Let’s all help make that future a reality. If we sit here with apathy, or too overwhelmed to act, evil will win. Lord help me fight the good fight!
