Condolences, my friend.
Michele Sharpe

Thanks Michele. I have not (yet) read the James Baldwin story, I will check it out. Yes, our stories are a light in the darkness. I was just writing this morning to a friend about us being surveyors: “How to plumb the depths with our various tools, cats, coffee, art, music, writing, language and poetics and still know that it is a process, that we are (just) surveyors of terrain. As we map our lives, we outline god.”

Like what you read? Give Kathy Weinberg a round of applause.

From a quick cheer to a standing ovation, clap to show how much you enjoyed this story.
