Letter #20: I’ve been married for 4 years — here’s are 3 things I’ve learnt as a husband
Johnson Kee

Marriage is hard. My husband and I were married for 20 years when we decided to get divorced. We had lost each other, lost ourselves and couldn’t find a way to fix it.

Thankfully, our teenage daughter got pregnant right out of high school. Because of that situation, we took a step back, realized that we both had gotten lazy and lost focus on what was really important to us. Our family.

We regrouped, refocused and after a lot of hard work we found our way back to each other. This year we celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary.

Looking back now, I find myself in awe at how far we have come and where we are at now. I wouldn’t change a thing about our journey because it made us stronger, a little wiser and grateful we are still together.

Thanks for sharing!
