Canada: First snow fall renews hilarious annual joke

Many Canadians woke up to snow today, and made their annual first treacherous drive sans snow tires.

It wasn’t until arriving at the office, that Canadians everywhere were treated to hilarious performances in which coworkers at the water cooler stated “It’s almost like everyone forgets how to drive at the first snowfall!” to uproarious laughter.

This tradition has been an important staple to the beginning of winter in Canada, ever since middle aged Canadians discovered internet memes.

“I had almost forgotten about the bombardment of people saying ‘people forget how to drive’” Said Susan Carrington. “It’s almost as funny as how people DO seem to forget how to drive at the first snowfall!” She added, smugly smiling at the originality of her own topical joke.

While new drivers everywhere appreciate the cautious slow-down of careful drivers, veteran drivers who only have 1 or 2 dents on their cars want citizens to know the value of a carefree attitude.

“In my 20 years of driving, I’ve only been in 3 winter rear enders.” said Maxwell Red. “There is no reason drivers should take more caution when conditions get worse.”

The discussion among drivers continues, as transit riders simply hope their bus actually shows up today.
