Resolutions That Will Actually Help Me Love My Life In 2016…

- Drink more water — I’m sure everyone vows to do this every so often, something tells me this will be forgotten a couple of months into the new year.
- Get clearer skin — I’ve suffered from extreme acne for four years now, jokes over I want to transform into Cara Delevingne now. Joking aside I would like to diminish those sore, pesky blemishes tainting my skin.
- Be more open-minded — I don’t want to be predisposed to judge others anymore and I want to destroy all prejudices I may have.
- Learn to accept insecurities are normal — No one is perfect. Perfection isn’t a destination so many people should strive to reach. It doesn’t exist. So forget it and love yourself because you are a stunning little sunbeam the way you are!
- Revise for important exams — Education is important so I shouldn’t abuse to right to knowledge by not putting enough effort in.
- Be more confident bare skinned — I basically need to stop hiding behind my makeup. It is only worsening my insecurities.
- Read at least one book a month — Hopefully I fulfil this goal as I adore reading but unfortunately never seem to find a lot of time for it anymore.
- Improve my drawing skills — I want to gain maybe just at least a few skills in the drawing department.
- Take more photos — Documenting special memories with a photograph is amazing, and I aspire to do it a lot more in 2016
- Get neater handwriting — Sometimes I struggle to decipher my own work because my handwriting is so atrocious.
- Care less about my appearance — It’s honestly becoming a waste of good time.
- Stop doubting my own capabilities — I can achieve anything if I want to.
- Get grades I want at college — Not necessarily amazing grades, just grades I’m proud of.
- Get better at Spanish — It’s a beautiful language and I would love to increase my vocabulary and knowledge this year.
- Do something different with my hair — It’s currently boring and damaged. Cute. Not.
- Improve in French and Psychology — I adore both of these subjects so much and I’m always on the look out for new information which inspires and teaches me.
- Clean my makeup brushes and tangle teezer more — Yes, I fail at being hygienic.
- Try not to get frustrated in my English Literature class — Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation of pieces of literature.
- Try not to fail maths — Apparently I’m not too bad at it.
- Tidy my room — I love clutter but really the amount of mess spread about my room is probably rather excessive.
