Day 14:

Last day of planning? For now. But that’s ok because summer camp starts on Monday!

On a different note, the recycling guys came and found a huge black widow in the trash. Corinne and j found it pretty exciting because it was our first time seeing one, but apparently we’ll see them all the time.

After lunch we everyone went to help clip the chickens flight feathers. Which started off easy as they were just hanging out, but got so much more difficult when we had to chase and corner chickens in an orchard. But we did it (we think). I’m sure we’ll find out soon if we missed any.

After work I biked into town to check out the T Shirt Shop. Everyone had been talking about it so much that I had to see what was up. And it was great. The walls were covered in hundreds of different designs you could get printed on any number of t-shirts. It was pretty overwhelming. But I settled on two designs, a retro Moab one with mountains and such, and a lizard riding a bike. I’m sure I’ll be back though.

The rest of the evening was spent chillin. Vince made banana bread from all the free bananas we got yesterday (it’s amazing). Corinne made chocolate covered frozen bananas (I have yet to try these).

Amy’s been house/dog sitting for Julie (the program supervisor) so we went over for a bit to see her and Bear (the dog).

Today we’re going to the La Sal mountains to do a day hike, which will be loads of fun!
