Shannon, NONE of us know what we are doing. We are all faking it til we are making it. I’ve felt the same as you throughout my life. Especially in vulnerable places like the dentist where I’ve been asked if I even brush my teeth because it looks like I don’t at time when my enamel or dental work erodes away from a tooth disease.

You may feel icky about yourself and inside and that’s okay. No one, no matter how confident or put together they appear, is always what they seem! You have physical illnesses. You have invisible illnesses too. That is who you are. As for the weird hair growth, wait until I tell you about menopause! Which I started at 37!

It took me many years to learn to embrace my visible and invisible illnesses. It is possible but not fun nor easy. Reach out if you need an ear!

And as always, thank you for sharing your life’s journey!
