I am experiencing the same thing (not as potently) with Google+. I snagged 30 views the first day I began sharing posts with several communities. I can’t get that on Facebook or Twitter, or, as you’ve mentioned, with my own blog. It’s frustrating, but I’m glad to hear I’m not alone.
