Just as a clarification, in Texas you do not have to have genital surgery to change your birth certificate. What you have to have is a court order. That court order though depends on what proof the judge want…and that varies across the state…by virtue disenfrachising some.

So, if the judge says you have to have GRS, then you do…but there is not consistent standard in the state….and that is part of the problem.

What you do need? A good lawyer, and they are not always cheap.
