Running a small business frequently feels like a constant uphill struggle. This is something we at the Raptoreum project understand and can relate to, seeing as our entire core team is made up of current or former small business owners.
There are tools that level the playing field to some extent, social network engineering, viral marketing etc.
Very few tools allow small businesses to provide their customers with say full product traceability or product stories that will help in social network engineering and the viral marketing of product. This is the type of feature that frequently is beyond the scope of a small business, given the scope of the logistical nightmare tracking using accredited systems can be, added to that the cost as well as manpower involved in running such a system.
Enter blockchain technology, the immutable public ledger is a tool that provides everyone with access to a public record that can’t be altered without absurd expenditure.
Proper usage of blockchain technology enables small businesses to sidestep many of those costs and empowers them to provide their customers with ethical/safety/traceability information as well as their story at the scan of a QR code.
Raptoreum isplanning a three-stage rocket to establish this aspect of blockchain technology as a solid inexpensive usecase.
- A web portal where companies willing to commit to using RTM for traceability will get a free introductory page coupled with a small web shop offering a few of their product for RTM payments.
- An all in one solution for asset creation where users can fill in a form, generate a payment address, pay and receive a traceability token sent straight to their designated holding address.
- A fiat gateway where you purchase the service of creating a traceability token on the Raptoreum blockchain. This service will be limited to traceability/quality assurance tokens only.
Why 1? For the simple reason that it adds value all round. Smaller artisan companies get access to the wild world of crypto currency for simply making the commitment to using Raptoreum’s blockchain for traceability.
Why 2? To value add for busy small business owners who want to leverage the technology but do not have the time and possibly set up to run a full Raptoruem node and handle ipfs uploads on their own. Just send coins straight from the exchange and boom you’re in business.
Why 3? Accessibility, blockchain technology should be available to everyone, everywhere regardless of if they have access to an exchange, mining equipment etc. This service will be restricted to traceability tokens to ensure its continuity.
