12.27.2015…
Long ago your eyes found mine
They seemed soulless, angered, fearful, empty — dark, black and blank upon their exterior, so many have said
Within mine, you’ve witnessed happiness, simplicity, bliss, peace, naivety and giddiness
I stood before you, like an angel; pure, delicate, light and white. Like a gift, truly from the heavens
There you were, what I’ve craved — destruction, disaster, tragedy — someone to keep me on my toes
I eventually learned under your tough, ambitious shell, you were a duplicate of me
Soft at times, serious at others
Intelligent, doesn’t take bullshit
A path of annihilation foreboding for the both of us before we part ways
You seek your vices as I crutch mine
A picture-perfect relation on the outside
Behind these closed doors, a dick contest
A deadly and toxic love affair ready to detonate
Constant screaming, growling, menacing extortion
Our claws release, we draw blood
A strong, powerful centaur challenged the raised ashes of the phoenix
A carcinogenic duel; only one to be obliterated
A once indestructible hope and a vivid dream,
Shattered upon the concrete earth
Scattered throughout our beings
Knowingly, one cannot piece glass back together as once was
Two souls split
Drifting off to what they opposed to be
For one thing is forever true
There’ll always be a duplicate of me in you
