This week I took the initiative to drop my chemistry class. It was not a class that I initially needed and it was extremely hard for me. I had to talk with the One Stop office to make sure that everything would work out with my financial aid. It does. So I dropped it and added a B-Term class called success over stress and its online. I feel a bit of relief because I have a lot of papers and deadlines coming soon that I really need to focus on. Since chemistry never had any due dates, I’m confident that I would have pushed it all aside and not done very well through the rest of the semester. With this, I am going to research something along the lines of freshman failing classes, dropping classes, or even dropping out. Needless to say, I will not be taking Chemistry next semester. If I somehow change my major enough that I will need to take chem, I will just have to take the class again.
