From Fat to Fit: Week 5

Compared to the previous week, week 5 didn’t go so well for me. I had a lot of things to do for school and my parents made me run a number of errands so I ended up not working out that much. However, I was still able to run four times this week - a total of 13.44km. My goal is to be able to finish at least 3km every single day and I’m working extremely hard to achieve that.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do more Zova workouts this past week. I’m currently on day 5 of their Focus On: Legs & Butt challenge but I’m having a lot of trouble finding the time to do these workouts during the weekdays when I’m in uni.

I’m not a big fan of counting calories and tracking what I eat whenever I’m home from uni, which I’ve already explained in a previous post, but due to February 1 being President’s Day and February 2 being Faculty Day at my uni, I stayed home for the majority of the week. Because of this, there was a lot of eating unhealthy yet delicious home-cooked food.

I know that alcohol can be very detrimental when it comes to weight loss but I’m in college and of legal age (as if age would stop me from getting liquor) so I’m not even going to try to abstain from alcohol. Nope. Nada. Out of the question. Anyway, my friends and I hit a couple of bars last Friday night to celebrate the end of a hella fucking long week so no My Fitness Pal data for that day too. I can’t even remember what we were drinking although there are flashbacks of some Hennessy and soda.

So basically, week 5 was a bust and I’m hoping that week 6 will be much better. I’m taking progress photo on the 10th but I’m not going to post them because I feel uncomfortable doing so. Oops.
