Graphic Content Warning! The Horrifying Murder of The Watts Family at the Hands of Picture Perfect Father and Husband: Chris Watts

The triple (and even quadruple if we are including their unborn son Niko) murder of Shannan, Celeste (CeCe) and Bella Watts that occurred in Frederick, Colorado grappled the nation. Especially when it came to light who was guilty of the murders, Chris Watts. The husband of 15 week pregnant, Shannan Watts and the father of Bella Watts (4 years old) and youngest CeCe (3 years old) had committed the murders of each of them in cold blood, by smothering/suffocating them one by one.

The story begins, well really I should say ends, on August 13, 2018 when Shannan is dropped off at the home she shared with husband Chris and their two, soon to be three, children. Shannan’s good friend and co-worker Nikole Atkinson had dropped Shannan off at around 2 AM the morning of August thirteenth, following a business trip the pair had taken that weekend. She was the last person aside from Chris Watts believed to have seen her alive.

The Watts family lived in a five bedroom house at 2825 Saratoga Trail in Frederick, Colorado. The couple purchased the home in 2013 and declared bankruptcy in 2015, just three years before the murders occurred.
