Falling Asleep

A short description

The fatigue is so viscid it's like being underwater.

She can’t comprehend the sounds swirling around her,

the pressure in her head is getting more intense;
like she is descending to unimaginable depths.

Her eyes open but they don’t focus,
everything is blurry and they burn with exhaustion and beg her to close them.

When she does she’s transported to a place with no escape.

A black hole engulfs her and she falls

endlessly

deteriorating

until her resurrection.
