If I wasn’t sitting in front of 27 high school students writing copious amounts of sentences on what they believe are the conflicts, symbolism, and themes of their choice of novel ( To Kill a Mockingbird, Catcher in the Rye, Fences, Lord of the Flies, Empire Falls, The Great Gatsby) I would have thrown back my head and laughed. I needed a really good laugh. So thank you for that! (PS- I’m delusional- it is not copious amounts. I may get three sentences per topic)
