So after many years of “highlights” I gave it up- bc of cost/time/upkeep. I happen to have to strips of white that frame my face an half an inch on each side ala Cruella DeVille. One day a woman at a Speech and Debate Tournament, dressed to the nines, asked me where I had my hair done. And, I couldn’t help it, I pointed at one side and I said “Oh, this is stress, and the other is anxiety.” She didn’t think it was funny. No sense of humor….I’ve embraced the grey hair- the wrinkles, different story. That’s what the free Estée Lauder giveaways are for. I’m having a hard time understanding why you, of all people, would have been chased off any platform with a “version” of this poem which I think is lovely ;)
