I got goosebumps reading this.

It might interest you that there were some anthologies published in the last several years in this genre. The Manila we Knew and The Cebu we Know were the ones I’ve read.

The best I’ve ever read though is Orhan Pamuk’s Istanbul.

I started this publication hoping that I’d discover Cebu’s Orhan Pamuk:

My ulterior motive for mentioning this is to increase the chances of someone (you perhaps?) starting a similar publication on Manila. I’d love to hear more stories like this. Looking forward to the rest of your series.
