As an editor, I appreciate the effort you made. I take all of this into consideration. As a reader, I must confess that Caitlin has written a few sentences that will live in infamy among English-language sentences. Would that I could do as much. But…the editor in me is always skeptical, and has always wondered. And there is fiction, and there is nonfiction. Thank you for your thoughts.
