I’m continually surprised that folks are continually surprised that the DNC did not hold a fair primary. Its charter has no force of law. It could have thrown darts at a dartboard of miscellaneous candidates, with or without cigar smoke. Yes, the DNC in its current configuration should die or be reconstructed from the ground up. If any viable alternatives are extant, please point them out.
