Comparative Medicine 101
Nicholas E. Morley

This side by side comparison of my home country and adopted country was timely. Lately I have come to the conclusion that while in a number of ways I’ve had my fill of Spain; as a poor, single, social worker with a couple chronic health problems it will serve me much better to stick it out here, despite the flaws. Sadly, the US healthcare system is just untenable for me. I consider lucky to be able to live here and buy my prescriptions for 12 euros a month. I hope you’re able to periodically escape the pueblo life and make it to Madrid.
