Quite different than my experience in 2008. We used public transportation everywhere (rented bicycles too) and really enjoyed getting to know the people by doing so, as well as staying in Casa Particulars exclusively. Do travel and see the beauty of Cuba, and don’t miss Trinidad, and visit Viñales to see the Mojotes. Avoid Varadero like the plague tho —
