Seriously, Who Died And Made You King Of Anything?

To deal with hateful, angry people in your life.

There are angry people around… And then there are the really angry people who are around.

Those who hold on to a grudge like the whole world owns them something, like their dear lives hang on to just that.

Those who hold on to whatever mistake that you’d made, or whatever false impression that they have of you, and remain so, so angry about it, and about you.

“Where do their negative energy even come from?” you’d ask. I don’t really know actually.

They talk about who don’t deserve what, and who shouldn’t have been given this chance and that.

They talk like they own everything.

They talk like they know better, when really, they know nothing besides the false voices talking in their heads.

They talk like they are God, possessed by the spirit of truth and righteousness.

They talk like they have a say in all things. But they don’t.

You’d also ask, “How do I deal with this sort of people?”

Well, my answer is this: Be happy.

Be happy. Be as happy as you can.

The thing is, fighting back is never going to work out well. Because by that, you are only allowing this person’s anger affect you, poisoning your life and the happiness that you now enjoy. By responding, you are losing the first part of the battle already.

Why your haters hate you and questions revolving that are seriously none of your business. Things happen — they just f*cking do.

Where there is love, there will also be hate. This is how the world balances itself; this is how this world works.

Don’t be an easy target for someone else’s anger. Instead, be fire-proof. Be bullet-proof. Repel the attacks — not by acting out, but by remaining unaffected, and refusing to be otherwise.

Return the attack by choosing happiness, by saying:

“You know what, stay like this for as long as you want. If being hateful and angry makes you feel satisfied and fulfilled, then please, continue to be. But I refused to be held hostage by your unhappiness and fury. You sure do seem to have some serious personal issues deep down to deal with by the looks of things. All I can say is, good luck with them. I wish you the best, sincerely.”

Seriously, who died and made anyone king of anything?

Nobody. Nobody died or rise from the dead to give you/him/her the power to decide the best judgments for other people.

These “kings” are self-made.

You are self-made.
