How many of you are using chrome browser? Many of us, right? Its obviously because Chrome is widely used browser in today’s era (app 60% Market Share Worldwide) It has cool and awesome features. And Copy and Paste is our all time favourite features. We use it number of times in a day. But here is a problem, we can have only one text to copy and for pasting at a time. I think it is not good enough for now. As every time when we go on copying text the last copied text got erased. Only one at a time! How to overcome this! What if we have all previously copied text!

Here, CopyStack is perfect match. A CopyStack(CS) is a chrome plugin which keeps track of your last copied text and helps you to use/insert them within webpages/websites. CS provides shortcuts for same. here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/copystack/glkghbammoafngedbmkfhoklnifmfjpc.

All that CS does is it maintains a list of all copied text. So whenever required you can use them. You just need to go on copying text. When you open CS plugin you will see list of copied text in a sequence. When you want to insert them anywhere in website/webpage, just go into that input field(cursor in input field) and then click on text from CS list. That particular text will get inserted into input field. How easy is that! Just like pasting. You have last 10 copied text in CS so you can use any of these text in input field. It is very helpful when you have many input fields like registration, online ticket booking booking form etc. First you have to copy them in a list and then just pasting in fields. Almost getting rid of writing in too many fields and copy-pasting each and every time.

But while pasting, we used shortcuts, CS is like opening and clicking on text each and every time. It is a bit boring. What if you paste a text directly using command or shortcut. Oh, here it comes, CS gives you some shortcuts so that you can insert them directly without opening and clicking on text. What you need to remember list.

If you have CS list

  1. Javascript
  2. CSS
  3. HTML
  4. Angular
  5. ReactJS and so on.

then while pasting text you have to use Ctrl + Shift + 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 for window user and for mac you have to use Command + Shift + 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9. It happens without opening CS. So easy.

It persists list so will be available even after you machine shut-down or restart, in normal scenario you copied text get erased, nothing is going to happen on pasting. CS is doing great job.

You can also removed unwanted text from CS by clicking X button next to text in a list. So list will get updated. CS now showing only 10 text, following stack.

Stack of all Copied text so CopyStack. It is specifically designed for chrome browser and it will work in webpage/website only.

It will definitely helps you and lesser your load by filling a longer form or where you need lots of copy/paste.
