Besan Khoya Laddu is a simple to prepare dessert recipe which you could make for your friends and family. This yummy dessert could be relished with your dear ones on the special events, festivals and any occasions. This Besan Khoya Laddu recipe is made with the help of besan (gram flour), mawa or khoya, ghee, raisins, green cardamom, and powdered sugar. You would be surprised to understand that this sweet could be prepared within thirty minutes only. And it will be liked by all age groups people. So, be little creative and go ahead for the recipe to show your cooking talent to your family and guests. Following is the list of ingredients and the method steps to prepare the yummy Laddus.

Ingredients for Besan Khoya Laddu:

  • gram flour (besan) — 120 gm
  • Khoya — 120 gm
  • green cardamom powder — 1 teaspoon
  • powdered sugar — 120 gm
  • Ghee — 60 gm
  • raisins as needed

How to prepare Besan Khoya Laddu:

Step 1) Take a vessel & crumble the khoya into it with your hands, make it soft.

Step 2) Now, place a kadai over a moderate flame & melt ghee into it. Once the ghee is sufficiently hot, include the besan into it & roast until the aroma gets out. Switch off the burner once done.

Step 3) Next, add the crumbled khoya into the roasted besan & combine properly. Allow the mixture to cool for a while & add powdered sugar alongside the cardamom powder in the besan-khoya mixture, & mix another time.

Step 4) Once the besan-khoya mixture is sufficiently warm to hold, bring 2 tbsp of the mixture in your hand & make a round ball such as Laddu. Have it with raisins as garnished & serve instantly. Enjoy!

Tip: You could also utilise cashews for garnishing the Laddus.
