How to receive money on Glasp
I’m introducing you to the feature of Glasp, a way of receiving money. Glasp uses Buy Me a Coffee
to receive money from other users, so you have an opportunity to get tips to buy learning stuff.
Step 1: Sign up for Glasp
Choose a browser you’re going to use: either Google Chrome, Brave, Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc.
On your search tab, type in “glasp.co” and you will be automatically directed to the page of Glasp. Or access it from the link below.
Upon reaching it click Sign up (beta)
and continue using your Google Account.
After finalizing your account, you will be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.
Step 2: Install the Glasp extension to your browser
Click Add to Chrome
(Brave, Safari, or Edge) and install Glasp on your chosen browser.
Step 3: Go to the Home page on Glasp
Once you’ve installed your Glasp extension, go to its home page. Here, you will see the sidebar opened where you can test highlighting words or sentences. Click a button in red to go to the Home page.
Also, you are free to choose your favorite topics. Choosing your topics could be a leap step as this will help you identify the articles in line with your interests.
Step 4: Go to the My Highlights page on Glasp
After you choose the topics, please go to the My Highlights
page by clicking My Highlights
at the top left.
Step 5: Prepare your “Buy Me a Coffee” account
If you already have the Buy Me a Coffee
account, please prepare it to add to your profile page on Glasp. If you don’t have it, please create your handle from the link below. It’s an easy step.
Step 6: Add your “Buy Me a Coffee” to your My Highlight page on Glasp
Once you prepare it, please click the three dots on your My Highlight
page. It’s accessible at the top left.
It opens a setting modal, so please add your handle of the Buy Me a Coffee
, and click the Save
button at the top right of the modal.
After that, please make sure that the link works well.
Notes: This does not guarantee you that you can receive tips from other Glasp users. But if you continue highlighting good articles and contributing to our society, someone may send you a tip to you. Let’s keep learning and leave it for future generations📚
