Want to Solve the Women in Tech Problem? Help Women Brag About Each Other
Caroline Cotto

I am a passionate, daily user of wikipedia, and because of that, a frequent financial contributor. I have been troubled, and mystified, for years, that most of the entries are written by males. I fancy myself to be well versed in history, especially of tech, but when the film Hidden Figures came out, I did not know these three women or their contributions. I think that your idea to systematically post information/bios on prominent, accomplished women in tech is simple, and right on the money. After I read this article, I checked to see if one of my favorite heroes, Gina Bianchini, was posted on wikipedia — she is. But there are many, many more women whose accomplishments entitle them to be posted, and acknowledged/honored.
