Support your friends the same way you support the celebrities you don’t know!

It’s so interesting that people promote “buying local” but choose not to support their own friends with small businesses! I know who I would buy a car from, a house, insurance, nutrition, finance, solar, personal training, etc. Just because it’s not made from their bathtub or a garage brewery, doesn’t mean THEY are not local!
How many of your friends have their own business and have a product that you bought from a competitor? Potentially you purchased your last vehicle unconsciously and they didn’t ask you to come into the store, but maybe you’re just being selfish and forgot about your friend.
I will forever be a loyal customer to my inner circle!
Even in my field I talk to my friends Curtis and John about the industry and products. In a lot of ways, they’re my competitors but I still have a ton of respect for them because they have a different perspective that I don’t. They’re great financial advisors and true fiduciaries.
My friends Bobby in Massachusetts and Jamie in Maine are both SUPERB Real Estate agents wether you’re a buyer or seller for a home. When you need to move or get contracting work completed, I’ll give you Drew’s number because he’s top notch.
My fraternity brother Brian is relentless with service and giving his customers deals on new and used cars. It’s impossible to count the number of friends who provide the best Solar PPA’s in the game, but I know they’re all from LGCY Power. If I am craving some northeast seafood, Wicked Maine Lobster is the FIRST place I go. Then after making myself fat and hating myself, I text Steve for top tier strength coaching to burn it off.
If you have no friends in business, I’ll give you social media to all my friends that I just listed.
It’s a lot to remember every friends businesses but you should try to do your best, the gesture goes a long way. Who cares if they make money off the sale, grow up! Instead of posting the Starbucks logo on snapchat and Instagram, post your friends coffeeshop down the road.
A la prochain,
Keith
