Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, - Colossians 1:15

Many people have honestly asked this question " How can I believe in a God I can not see with my own eyes". This is a great question to ask. God understand it's not possible for our finite minds to comprehend such a topic. And yet he has made it possible for us to be able to understand this truth by sending his son Jesus as a living example for us to learn from.

In John 14:9 Jesus told Philip if you have seen me then you have seen my father based on the things he did while Jesus was in their presence. One might say that I have never seen Jesus either so how does that help. This topic is very complexed and yet Jesus made it simple enough that a child could understand.

If I had to choose only two examples to show this truth here is what I suggest.

1.) Love- when you truly love someone in your life you are willing to do just about anything. There are thousands of stories about how individuals have selfllessly sacrificed their time, effort and even sometimes their life in order to help someone they loved without a second thought. Actions speak louder than words.

2.) Trust- from a young age we daily place are trust in things we can not see or control. We have head knowledge but until we actually experience them for ourselves they are simply concepts with out proof. We take for granted that nothing is promised in life yet that does not stop us from creating new things and exploring places we have never been before regardless of the danger.

Jesus modeled these examples during his ministry. All we really have to go by is his holy word which was created for us to better understand him and how we must live in order to be reconciled to God.

The good news is Jesus is the living word of God and not just letters on a page. If we will humble ourselves and seek him with true sincerity he will reveal his truth to us. The holy spirit gives us revelation to see spiritual truths and realities we could never figure out on our own and makes those words come to life.

Only then can we have the opertunity to place our trust in him and learn about how much we are loved by him and exchange our wretched sinful nature for a brand new heart that seeks to serve and honnor the God who rescued us by his precious reedeeming love.
