For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. - Luke 19:10

Many people have expectations or theories on what the purpose of the life of Jesus. And although he did many things in a short amount of time while he was here on earth. His focus was solely to bring salvation by the example of his life, death, and resurrection.Every message he spoke, every healing he administered. Even when he was persecuted and rejected by his own people it was all related to Gods salvation plan for man. Jesus said it best when he was a young boy in the temple courts teaching the scholars about the law of God. His parents came looking for him as he went missing hours before. When they found him they asked why would leave us without saying anything. Young Jesus replied ' I must be about my fathers business'. Evan as a child his focus was about salvation. My question is are we doing the fathers business? Are we sharing his truths with others by our words or actions? We all have different calls and gifts given to us but in the end, it's about salvation. I myself need to be better at sharing the hope that lives within me. But like anything, the task should be shared in love and not from obligation or guilt. Jesus paved the way and set an example of how we are to live this new life he has given us. I pray we all find our gifts and use them to bring hope to those who need salvation.
