It has become very easy in the world we live in today to become self-reliant. We set out each day to carry out our plans and to fulfill our responsibilities we have been entrusted to. But somewhere in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we tend to forget who is our refuge and strength.Where is our hope placed in? We need to stay mindful of the promises God has declared to us and for us each day. We all must find a way to stay connected to him throughout our affairs and to give him thanks for what we already have and for what he has yet to reveal. Otherwise, things can seem mundane and empty if we lose sight of his presence in the midst of our day. We must actively declare his goodness for all he has and will continue to do by his mercy and give thanks so that our hearts may be full of joy even in the midst of the struggles we face each day.
