Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - Psalm 16:11

David wrote this Psalm from the perspective of Christ entering into the glory of heaven and receiving all its benefits as his life and mission here on earth was completed. We also should establish this way of thinking as we go about our daily lives. Serving Christ is not always an easy task in the midst of everyday life. We face many challenges that can greatly affect our witness of Jesus living within us. People look at us very closely to see if we actually live what we say we believe. We must also remember that this world is not our home and that we strive to bring heaven on earth by Gods power. The fruits of our labors are not always seen here and now but will be once we have finished our lives and enter into heavens courts. To finally be able to understand the magnitude of his love for us and the unspeakable joy that will engulf us. And bestow neverending peace that covers us will be our rewards to name but a few. So be encouraged when times are tough and keep your eyes focused on the prize that awaits us in the loving arms of our creator and king forevermore.
