Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, - 2 Timothy 1:9
When Timothy wrote these words to the body of believers in his day. He was setting forth a reminder as well as a challenge that their very lives did not belong to them alone to do as they pleased. They had a divine purpose and destiny designed for them before they were ever created. The world we live in talks a lot about how some people are destined for greatness in various areas such as art, music, sports, and creative thinkers. And as wonderful as it can be at times it's temporary and has very little value in regards to eternity. We all have a divine destiny and purpose that was created for us by our heavenly father before time as we know it began. You see we all have been given great gifts by our king to create and establish his kingdom here on earth. And by doing so he has allowed us to partner with him to bring forth an eternal destiny and culture that will never end. It's mindblowing to think that the great I am would allow us who are rebellious sinners and selfish people to be allowed to take part in his vision that will last forever. God does not need our help to do anything as he is fully capable by himself. But because he has such a divine love for us he wants to include us in his plans for restoration and redemption for the world. This is where we must willingly choose to seek him out with all that is within us in order to unlock these gifts that we already have deposited deep within our spirit so they can be used for his plans and purposes. It is by no means an easy task but one worth investing in where the blessings overshadow the sacrifices. As shown in the picture attached to this writing we all are a single plant in the hands of God who can plant us in his fertile soil and grow us to become whatever he deposited in us from eternity past so that it can help shape eternity future. Will you receive what he has for you or will you choose to go your own way? Your destiny awaits for your decision and God watches close by with great anticipation that you will choose him as he has chosen you.
