The story Part 1: Introduction

In the verdant pastures of Kekle Land, lies the quaint and picturesque village of Kekleshire. In this seemingly peaceful, rural paradise — an idyllic hamlet full of surprise and modern technology resides. Under these very same skies, a group of innovative egg farmers — known as the Kekreators — (Kekle artists and scientists) pursue their ambitious quest to lay a new foundation and revolutionise the egg industry.

With the goal of creating eggs far superior to the mundane ones found in the world, the Kekreators began feeding their chickens a diverse diet, experimenting with various genetically modified ingredients created in the Kekle-Lab to enhance the taste and nutritional content of their eggs.

The seamless blend of traditional farming techniques and cutting-edge technology set the stage for a remarkable breakthrough.

At first, the results were astounding. The eggs produced in the Kekleshire laboratory grew larger and more vibrant than ever before…

However, their success did not come without a price. The more they fed their chickens, the greater their appetite and requirements became. Over a short time, the eggs underwent a startling metamorphosis. Their shells hardened to an unprecedented degree. The once-radiant yolks had transformed into a mix of gold and an assortment of hues across the spectrum.

Alarmed by these unforeseen developments, the Kekreators consulted with leading scientists and oologists from around the world, attempting various remedies while analyzing their experimental data and its responses. Despite their best efforts, the transformation proved irreversible, and they realized they had inadvertently given birth to a new hybrid breed of egg.

Embracing this peculiar creation, the Kekreators named their newfound breed the “Hard Boiled Keksters”, a tribute to their resilient shell and the indomitable attitude embodied by these eggs. While they’re inedible, they make the perfect brekkies companions.

The Hard Boiled Keksters emerged as a fascinating expansion of the original Kekleberry collection. While the Ordinals Kekleberry embraced a retro 1980’s breakfast (eggs) style, the Hard Boiled Keksters showcased a series of full illustration designs crafted by the most talented Kekreators in the industry. This creative evolution brought a captivating new dimension to the Kekreators legacy, the world of fun and innovative art.

Why on Ethereum?

We have received inquiries about why we chose to base this collection on Ethereum rather than deploying it on Ordinals.

As artists and creators, our commitment is deeply rooted in the realm of art and innovation. The Keksters have been uniquely crafted to reflect the spectrum of human emotions. From the exhilarating peaks of joy to the restless nights and low points, our diverse range caters to every sentiment.

Every Kekster in our collection has been thoughtfully and meticulously hand-drawn to bring out the character’s personality. Far from being generic, each piece features distinct shapes, colors, and traits that accentuate its uniqueness.

Will the mint be revealed instantly?

In a tribute to symbolism and the significance of numbers, the reveal is scheduled to occur 69 hours following the initial mint.

Can you break down the distribution?

The collection will be limited to 6,969 NFTs, and the NFTs themselves will not be burnable (we don’t think anyone appreciates burnt eggs!). We’ve decided to take a different approach by allowing holders to explore the possibilities of this unique idea.

As the creators of the collection, Kekleberry retains full ownership of the intellectual property, but we are granting commercial licenses (specific will be published separately) to NFT holders, enabling them to use and display their specific NFTs.

Who are eligible to mint?

Ordinals Kekleberry holders (current and future hodlers). At this time of writing, Ordinals Kekleberry are not yet sold out, you can view them here at the MagicEden marketplace.

As a reminder, Ordinals Kekleberry (Sub 100K project, a total of 111 Ordinals Kekleberry ever inscribed) is a fair launch with no auctions. The price for each Kekle is 0.033 BTC or locked in at 0.48 ETH, so you don’t have to worry about any fluctuations in currency exchange should you decide to pay with ETH.
