It is oxymoronic that the APC government that ran it’s campaign on the pillar of restructuring would turn around to say that restructuring is no longer an issue to be bothered with. Two questions arise:

  1. Is it that the government did not appreciate the concept in its totality?
  2. Were they out to take the electorate for a ride knowing very well that the idea would sell?

I am won’t to believe that coming from another aspirant after a betrayal that still hurts, many voters will see this proclamation as another ploy to win votes.

The greater challenge of this mantra therefore will be in conviction of the electorate rather than its actual implementation.
