Dear Sasha — to quote you, “You do whatever you want, pal. I’ll do what I think is right.”

That’s exactly what many of us did in the 2016 election. The Democratic party holds no resemblance to the party of FDR, but Bernie Sander’s candidacy brought those ideals back into the conversation after the Dems gutted them for over 30 years. This election and support for Sanders was never about personality but about social programs, inequality, systematic racism, and on and on. It’s still about the integrity of leadership and Bernie Sanders has that in spades. Hillary — not so much. The DNC — not at all.
