Out of all of the plans to help addicts, including free illicit drug use safety nets, free Opioid medications, job safety, discrimination rights, ects; I read only one attempt (if you can call it that) to help the millions of injured, and suffering American citizens in intractable pain, telling Drs to treat pain is simply a pathetic disguise to say one cares, no Dr is going to just suddenly show empathy and compassion because a paper said so, the DEA, state medical boards, HHS, CDC, insurance companies, pharmacies, The US Chamber of Commerce, along with many other government run and funded organizations are mandating that patients, regardless of diagnosis are to be tapered or removed from their life sustaining medications, or they will be charged with “ overprescribing “, when cancer centers are being investigated and pharmacists are given the authority to police Drs, the PMDP, is being used as a weapon. This term “ overprescribing “ is simply another word for “treating pain" with opiates, and Drs are running; and fast. Thousands of patients to whome were working, enjoying some semblance of a normal life, or simply was able to shower are now forgotten, abandoned, discriminated against, and left to die a slow agonizing death, if it’s from a major health disaster that is occurring from the stress pain has on the physical body or it be the pain, & desperation, from mental strain of dealing with agonizing pain leading to suicide, everyday hundreds of pain patients are commiting suicide, and no one cares, Why? Because they /we are not addicts, we are citizens that are now extendable, we do not make profit for the Gov therefore are worthless. One day I hope those responsible for the worst medical genocide in America are held accountable, until then My fellow pain suffers, do your best to stay strong and if it gets to be to much to bear (being tortured), no one blames you for your choices in an attempt to relieve your suffering, as God knows and is watching, may you find peace with your choices that have been mandated unto you. You are/ will always be important to those that have a heart. God Bless every American in pain.
